A few years ago, I received a shocking diagnosis of fatty liver disease. It was a wake-up call that prompted me to evaluate my lifestyle and make the necessary changes to restore my liver's health. I knew I couldn't ignore the warning signs any longer.

We delved into my history across all spectrums seeking information about the causes, effects. I committed to their longer term coaching plan which I beleived in to understand how I could reverse this for myself take proactive steps toward recovery. (Healthy Eating) I completely revamped my diet, focusing on whole, nutrient-rich foods while eliminating processed and sugary options. I incorporated an abundance of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains into my meals. (Portion Control and Balanced Meals) I learned to listen to my body's hunger cues and eat until I felt satisfied, rather than overeating. (Regular Exercise) I incorporated a combination of cardiovascular exercises, strength training, and flexibility exercises into my routine. When I was first diagnosed with arthritis, I sought the guidance of medical professionals who specialised in the condition. I consulted with rheumatologists and other experts who provided me with a deeper understanding of my specific type of arthritis and the available treatment options. I didn't realise I suffering from this chronic condition for more than 10 years as I was so detached from visiting the doctors regularly and taking my health seriously. I honestly believed I was having joint pains was normal and didn't think anything of it.
I got my blood results and report just before lockdown and so I didn't have the luxury of visiting the hospital regularly to seek proper advice and get medication immediately. I started reading up on the subject and recognised, the importance of a healthy lifestyle and better habits was key in making a positive change to my condition. I was offered free advice from a health coach who works at the online clinic and following that, I adopted a nutritious diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. This made me feel better from the inside and opened the door to functional medicine and how this can help my health in a more natural way. In addition to traditional medical approaches, I was guided to various alternative therapies. These included acupuncture, massage therapy, and herbal supplements, which complemented my overall treatment plan. While results may vary, these therapies provided additional relief and support for my arthritis symptoms.
